How to make a Waterfall card
How to Make a Waterfall A5 card using my kit 5 steps to complete the card, collect your own embellishments. Double sided tape is required. The Contents of the Kit: 1 white A5 card 1 large coloured topper 1 long coloured strip 1 waterfall mechanism, scored and punched 3 small white topper squares 3 smaller coloured topper squares Step 1 Lay out the topper pieces and embellish as you wish. I have used a few baby themed embellishments as I am planning on New Baby Girl themed card. I attached the pink card to the white card supplied. The embellishments are up to You, depending on what the occasion is Step 2 Lay out the mechanism as shown and add 3 pieces of double sided tape on the top by each of the 3 folds. Stick the toppers on; make sure that the top of the topper is in line with the top of the fold. Start with the bottom topper and work up. I put a decoupaged picture on the top layer, as this is the main picture that I want to show. Step 3 Turn over the mechanism with the toppers attached. Stick the coloured strip with double sided tape to the bottom of the mechanism. Place the topper mechanism, folded in half at the top of the top topper, on top of the large topper. The punched end should lie under the long strip. Hold in place and turn over Step 4 Decorate the large topper in any way you wish to co-ordinate with your theme. I used a corner punch on the corners. Fold over the long strips and glue in place this side, leave the other side lose. Step 5 Turn over and attach the whole large topper to the card and embellish as you wish. I used double sided tape. I dry embossed the card down the edges to enhance the waterfall topper. I attached a greeting with foam pads, some silver ribbon and puffy heart and bow. The backs have been embellished with: To the Proud Parents of: and A New Baby Girl, to show as you pull the toppers down As you pull on the punched flap the toppers fold down, one by one, behind the bottom topper. You can embellish the backs if wish, with a secret greeting.
